Design
A drawing, argued over until the proportions are right. Nothing is cut before the line is settled.

Stone selection
Stones are chosen in daylight, matched for colour and depth, and set aside in pairs.

Setting
Each stone is seated by hand. Kundan work asks for patience more than force.

Finishing
Enamel is fired, surfaces are brought up, and the reverse is worked as carefully as the front.

The final piece
Checked once more against the drawing, then boxed. It leaves only when it is finished.
